After several weeks with Rafael Alonso in Haiti, we can finally have some pictures where the start is of the construction of the hospital. We also have some significant developments in the project. The most significant is the change in location of hospital a lot closer to Ducrabon.
The new lot has better access, which is shortened by 600 m (precisely the most difficult to execute). It is also flatter, and the products of the excavation can get them pre-aggregates for the construction of the hospital.
The water is also 400 m closer. Within the grounds are located a small house and a cemetery, which will be put up for cement and water tanks respectively. Currently
already done the following work:
- collection of small stones, which were used later in the pitching of the bearers of the buildings.
-ground vegetation clearance l, collecting part for later use in gardens and small orchards. Refined
- resulting land with barren surface state collected for the 150 m. access road.
-excavation of the foundations of buildings outpatient and hospitalization.

All these works have been conducted with workers from the area , an average of 20 daily unskilled days 9 hours with a stop for lunch included, have taken part in several women, accustomed in their daily work travel long distances in search of water and its subsequent transport over the head in buckets of 20 liters. have selected the 12 workers who have shown greater efficacy and will continue in the works, requiring the recruitment of other workers only in a timely manner.
