CPDC FACT UNPRECEDENTED IN THE HISTORY OF THE GUILD OF PSYCHOLOGISTS MINUTES OF VENEZUELA

The Board of the College of Psychologists of the Capital District (CPDC) to inform all its members that on Saturday March 26, 2010 was conducted Ordinary Assembly District in which the school presented the Capital Report, which was approved, being deferred Budget Account 2010 and 2011 for a Special Meeting at the request of assembly members present themselves.

On April 2, was made the Special Meeting, as reported on Monday March 28 through network of Psyche-l and other means during the week. Indeed it did, at 10:15 am in the Assembly once confirmed the quorum in its third call, the Chairman of the SPDC, Maria Eugenia Guédez, gave the opening and proceeded to appoint the Director of Debates and Secretary of the Assembly, be appointed by the attendees, Mr. Louis Besson and Ms. Pamela Cruz, respectively. Immediately, Ms. Guédez gave the floor to the Treasurer of the College, who presented the account of the Capital Management in 2010. No more comments on it and the assembly unanimously approved the report of the Account. Then he read the Budget Management estimated in 2011 and was also approved unanimously.

We note as something never before seen in our office, the Special Meeting of April 2, 2011 will be held at the gates of the Federation of Psychologists of Venezuela (FPV), in the street, because it could not enter the enclosure to remain closed its gates locked and not having anyone who could open and respond. Unprecedented in the history of the Guild of Psychologists in Venezuela. However, that did not stop the Special Meeting will be held according to the announcement.

The Board of Directors of the SPDC wants to make known to its members and psychologists general, of such action on Saturday April 2 and raise our strongest voice of protest to the Board of the Federation of Psychologists of Venezuela in such a situation we regard as disrespectful treatment Directive, delegates and union members of College Capital District Psychologists who came to attend the Assembly as provided in its Rules.

It is interesting to note that the call for the Assembly, which was the decision of the Assembly members who attended the March 26, 2011, was published in Psyche-l network, although not requested the use of the facilities to host this end and other times it has the CPDC with a written communication to the FPV, as is usually done under the guidelines of the FPV. However, this situation could be solved soon, to be a willingness and interest to do so. The Chairman of the SPDC failed to communicate with the President of the FPV via cell phone in order to try to resolve this situation and recognize the failure of the written communication from the College.

Importantly Capital College is not in arrears with FPV, your maintenance fees are up to date and the payment for unionization is also a day. We have maintained an open and direct communication with the FPV, so it is our great surprise this situation. Despite everything that happened did not prevent the Assembly successfully perform on a public street and the gates of the FPV, as decided by the same psychologists union members who attended.

The CPDC considered a binding commitment to union officials to activate the communication mechanisms that allow to manage differences and to achieve the establishment of new operating guidelines tailored to the dynamics of management entities, cohabiting unions Macaracuay.
